Self-Love: Because you are Fearfully and Wonderfully made
/After months of experiencing negativity being spoken into my life, I am re-teaching myself the art of self-love. Unfortunately, there are some confused people in this world who choose to see the negative over the positive, and speak that into other people's lives. Sadly, they allow that to affect (what should be) beautiful things. If you always choose to let the good outweigh the bad, you will ALWAYS see beauty in others, in your relationships, and in your life.
First off, I would like to proudly say that I love this body of mine, and you should love yours, too. This body is small, yet powerful. It has scars and imperfections, yet has been perfectly designed by God. No matter what shape or size, LOVE YOUR BODY. You only have one, and God gave it to YOU.
My prominent forehead and button nose are unique features that make me, Danielle. My short, muscular legs give me the ability to squat and deadlift more than my bodyweight. The curvature in my spine makes me work harder to achieve certain lifts and movements. While others may look at those things as negative qualities, I choose to embrace everything about myself because God gave those qualities to ME.
Choose to see yourself the way God sees you. I promise it's beautiful.
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14
If you have had negativity spoken into your life, either by yourself or by others, remember this... You are a child of God! Uniquely and beautifully made, and that is something to be celebrated!!
